Not a backyard mechanic job if you don't have a lift and the special tools.I own a 2004 F350 4X4I have worked on cars %26amp; trucks b4, how hard is it to change upper %26amp; low ball joints? It has torsion bars, so its just a matter of getting the spindle off and knocking the joints out of it, and pressing the new ones in. And as a tip-most discount parts stores will rent the press out. And if you are going to all this trouble, i'd recommend Moog balljoints, NOT the one most of the discount parts stores sell. if the box doesn't say Moog -DON'T install them, even if the parts guys say they are made by Moog and just boxed under a different name. they are inferior quality parts.
