Any vauxhall mechanics ,how easy are the track rod arms to change (NOT TRACK ROD ENDS) i was told just a case?

of removing the steering rubbers and un screwing the arms i have play in both steering ball joint and ont want to replace the whole thing cheers before any answers please note i dont man track rod ends but the threaded arms and i already have the parts so i know these can be replaced on there own thanksAny vauxhall mechanics ,how easy are the track rod arms to change (NOT TRACK ROD ENDS) i was told just a case?Easy enough to be fair depending on what car you have. Remove the track rod end (count how many turns it took to remove) and locknut. Snip the gaitor clips off and slide the gaitors down and off the rods.



The rods themselves usually need a large spanner to undo them but access can be very difficult due to the subframe, depending on the car. Sometimes a molegrips on the rounded part of the nut can be used.



Undo the old one, screw in the new. Refit above and screw the rod ends back on the same amount of turns.



Get it tracked accurately!!!
